CHRISTMAS IN GERMANY

The German course at Christmastime was designed to provide a balance between learning German and enjoying the Christmas fun. German lessons take place in the morning and all teaching content will be selected according to your preferences. You can focus on language relating to the German Christmas or opt for an entirely  different focus. The afternoons will center around all Christmas things, accompanied by your teacher and personal German trainer.

The atmosphere at the historic Franconian Christmas markets is something special, and the beautifully decorated stalls offer traditional handcrafts and gifts. Visit the Christmas markets and bakeries with your teacher and enjoy the delicious Franconian cuisine. Stroll through narrow streets lined by medieval houses with their Christmas lights, visit castles and immerse yourself in the Advent period. The UNESCO heritage of Bamberg is the perfect setting.

Example: Weekly plan with full board

As a rule, you will arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Saturday morning. If you have booked a course of 2 or more weeks, you can look forward to a trip on Sunday.

You will have 20×45 minutes of lessons from Monday to Friday in the morning. You will also have plenty of practical language sessions at all mealtimes and during social time in the evenings, at  the Christmas market, at a Glühwein-Stand or sitting comfortably in a brewery or at home.
