GERMAN FOR BUSINESS

You will learn how to communicate with your boss, your coworkers and your customers in meetings, at trade fairs and during small talk at the workplace. There will be a strong focus on improving your verbal expression (and written expression if required).

Topics range from communicating with customers and coworkers via phone or email, to understanding and creating reports and presentations. Business etiquette in German-speaking countries also forms part of this course. Example: Weekly plan with full board  

You will usually arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Saturday morning. If you have booked a course of 2 or more weeks, you can look forward to a day trip on Sunday.

You determine the amount of teaching you will receive on this course. Choose between minimum 26 and maximum 38*45 minute 1-to-1 lessons per week. The following weekly schedule is based on a selection of 30*45 minutes per week: 4*45 minutes in the morning and 2*45 minutes in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. 

You will also have plenty of practical language sessions at all mealtimes and during social time in the evenings, chatting with your teacher’s family and friends in a beer garden, a brewery or at home. In addition, leisure activities, including sightseeing, walks and strolls, and visits to concerts, the cinema or the theatre, give you countless opportunities to practise your German. That’s what makes Home Tuition such an experience – you will be speaking and listening to German around the clock! 

While we offer you many opportunities to speak German, it is entirely up to you how many activities you do and how much time you have to yourself. We offer the activities and you select what you like!

Price includes:

• Transfer to and from the station in the town of study
• Registration fee, placement test and course material
• 26-38*45 minutes of 1-1 lessons with a private teacher, depending on the amount of lessons booked
• Tailored activity programme:  1x short walk or bike ride, 1x sightseeing, 1x walk, 1x dinner at a restaurant/brewery, day trip (for courses of 2+ weeks)
• Practice sessions at all meals
• Social time at the end of the day
• Attractive single room with private toilet, bathroom or shared walk-in shower
• Balanced meals with full or half board
• Certificate of attendance based on the CEFR

Price does not include

• Transfer to and from the airport
• Entrance fees and rental (e.g. bike rental)
• Lunch on Saturday, and either lunch or dinner on the Sunday excursion
