The German & LIFESTYLE COURSES were designed to provide a balance between German and an activity you enjoy. German lessons take place in the morning and the content will be selected according to your preferences. You can either concentrate on German relating to your LIFESTYLE COURSE or opt for a different focus. In the afternoon, everything will centre around your LIFESTYLE COURSE, with specially selected trainers, activities and initiatives. In total we offer 7 Lifestyle courses to choose from.

German & WALKING

Franconia in Northern Bavaria is a paradise for walkers. No matter which Home Tuition location you pick, you will find you have made the right choice. Bamberg is located near the Fichtelgebirge, the Coburger Land and the Steigerwald, Erlangen is an ideal starting point for both Franconian and Hersbrucker Switzerland, and in Forchheim you will have Franconian Switzerland on your doorstep. Example: Weekly plan with full board for German + Walking

You will usually arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Saturday morning. If you have booked a course of 2 or more weeks, you will go out with your teacher’s family on Saturday evening and on Sunday you can enjoy a walk in Franconian Switzerland.
You will have 20*45 minutes of lessons in the mornings from Monday to Friday and go for short strolls or longer walks in the afternoons. Read More

While we offer you many opportunities to speak German, it is entirely up to you how many activities you do and how much time you have to yourself. We offer the activities and you select what you like!

Price includes:

• Transfer to and from the station in the town of study
• Registration fee, placement test and course material
• 20*45 minutes of 1-1 lessons with a private teacher
• 5 afternoon walks, and a longer walk on Sunday (courses of 2+ weeks)
• Tailored activity programme: 2x sightseeing and 2x dinner at a pub/brewery
• Practical sessions at all meals
• Social time at the end of the day
• Attractive single room with private toilet, bathroom or shared walk-in shower
• Balanced meals with full or half board
• Certificate of attendance based on the CEFR

• Transfer to and from the airport
• Entrance fees and rental (e.g. bike rental)
